Guest guest
I would never compare them with veinna links. Those Worthington Big Franks are great!. So are the Vega - Links If you spray them with some cooking spray and bake them they get so crispy and nice. I often just boil them in a covered pot in the broth that they come in. I even slice them up and brown them in a little oil and then add some med. size chunks of onions and bell peppers. Sometimes I boil some potato med. chunks until tender. drain and then brown them up with the sliced up Big Franks orVegelinks and onion, bell pepper mixture. Salt to taste. So good. Guest guest
I've done the Big Franks on the grill and under the broiler, just like I used to with real hot dogs. I can burn them a little without them getting all dried out. I don't eat them very often, but when I get a hot dog craving, they're perfect! My dad has had them on the grill and he loved them, said he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them and the real thing. I think they taste like the S-bar brand ones I grew up on, but they're not as greasy, which I like. I was shocked to see that the Big Franks are even vegan!
