Guest guest
From Today¹s blog I often put up pictures of meals. I just saw a YouTube video about super foods. Out of what was listed I had two gogi berries and coconut. I¹ve also had two bananas, eight strawberries and some plain yogurt as well as the juice of a carrot, two sticks of celery and an apple. I would think that almonds should be listed as super foods as well I¹ve had three of thoseŠ. raw, organic. I don¹t necessarily eat this healthy. I¹ve also had two chai lattes. I make them at home. One was made with skim milk, one with water both with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles. I also had some cheddar crackers. Both the whipped cream and crackers (the natural equivalent of cheese-its) came from the health food store and some Earl Grey tea. I¹ve also had a very small bit of barley salad (the goji berries were in this) and soy fake chicken. That really sounds like a lot, which it probably is. I still have dinner to make. It will be a salad with some kind of bread and green iced tea. (Picture on Blog) So, dinner is done. (pictured above) With the sesame seed bread we had goat cheese in olive oil and herbs. We got to eat on the deck. We take advantage of that whenever possible. Seems like the season just fly by. I¹m now having a Rijgira Ladoo for dessert. It reminds me a little of a nut cracker jack cluster. It¹s very small. Jerri http://justjera.wordpress.com/ P.S. I also read that growing a goji berry bush was pretty easy, so I¹m going to look into doing that.
Guest guest
I really enjoyed reading your blog and seeing your pictures of the delicous food. Meals outside in the spring and fall are something we enjoy too. In the summer it is just to hot here in south alabama, plus we have those little pesky mesquito's. Of course if it is cool enough to eat outside, we light up some citronella candles to help with the mesquito's. Thanks for sharing your blog and interesting menu for today with us. Sounds yummy. Speaking of goji berries, have you tried that fruit juice you can buy near the vitamins in Wal-Mart called Miracle Fruits of the World? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10316379 It tastes delicous and you just take a couple of tablespoons a day. Includes the following: Pomegranate, Açai, Noni, Mangosteen, Blueberry, Cherry, Grape Seed, Aloe Vera, Goji Berry, Green Tea, Concord Grape, Ginkgo Biloba, Resveratrol I am wondering if the goji bushes grow well from seeds or if you need to get a plant and where. Let us know what you find out about this. Judy ----- .
