Guest guest Posted September 16, 2009 Report Share Posted September 16, 2009 Rosemary-Parmesan Potatoes Au Gratin 2 yablespoons Butter 3 pounds Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8 inch thick slices 2 cups Half and half (half milk, half cream) 1 teaspoon Rosemary 1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated salt and pepper to taste Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly oil a medium casserole dish. Set aside. Add the butter, half and half, and potatoes in a heavy pan. Slowly bring to a boil. Remove from the heat. Stir in the rosemary and garlic. Spoon into the casserole. Top with the cheese. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the cover and bake 15 minutes longer, or until the top is lightly browned.
