Guest guest
There are very few foods I don't like, unfortunately! I don't care for okra. I have tried it several times and I just don't like it. Purslane in large quantities is like eating grass to me. I like it mixed with salad greens, but not on it's own. I've never liked meat except for a short time when I was pregnant with second son. I don't like dairy milk-never have. Turns out I was allergic to it. I always thought cooked greens were gross, but now I like them if they are lightly steamed, not cooked to death. Otherwise everything is fair game and every eater fend for themselves! Guest guest
There is one and only one; brussel sprouts. Bland, bitter, b oring, if you want to eat cabbage then let them grow!
Guest guest
I have two foods that I really hate. They are very common in a lot of recipes and I want to like them but I just can't. They are mushrooms and avocados. Yucky. Canteloupe and honeydew can be great at just the right degree of ripeness. Also re eggplant, have you tried the narrow Japanese eggplants...they are really, really different, mild and wonderful grilled on both sides with a little olive oil and black pepper or another seasoning you enjoy. I dislike the Italian eggplants. > let's see green peppers(luv hot ones),eggplant(though am trying lighter skins),cantalope/honeydew(now use in salad, dressing hides a lot), raw onions-luv cooked ones.... that's about it (though there a LOT of things yet to be tried) lol >
Guest guest
Broccoli and blueberries (fresh or cooked) - both taste bitter to me. I don't even like broccoli covered in cheese. Tofu - probably just b/c I still can't figure out how to prepare it! Audrey
Guest guest
Mangos and papyas. Blech. Not totally wild about kiwi or star fruit. Boiled okra YUK - kind of like eating slugs. *shudder* Think I'll go get a glass of spicy gingerale.
