Most people look at me like I'm insane when I tell them about it - and it sucks, because I love peach flavor! do you get it from certain pears (to a lesser extent), too? or just peaches? Like you, I like the flavor, but they give me the shivers and I rarely eat them. ?I haven't bitten into an unpeeled peach in probably 50 years. ?When we were kids, my cousins used to steal peaches from a neighbor's peach tree and they were extremely fuzzy (like biting into a caterpillar). ?I think that's what clinched it for me. ?I could fly quicker than I could bite into a peach. ?LOL TM ------------ PEACHES!!!!!! Guest guest Posted September 20, 2009 Report Share Posted September 20, 2009 My mom wouldn't eat canned sliced peaches for the longest time because they reminded her of the goldfish she had as pets -- they would sometimes get out of the net while she was cleaning their bowl and flop around on the floor.
