Guest guest
LOL. I wonder how one knows that the BS's don't want to be eaten ? Did they tell someone ? Anyway. Put me down as one that loves Brussel Sprouts. Sort of. When I eat them I eat probably 4. Their taste is boring usually and sometimes a little more bitter than what I like, but for some reason, this man that didn't like green foods when he was a child loves them now. I love Broccoli (raw and or cooked) and I even love turnup greens. I even thow all these in my Jack LaLane juicer along with kale and spinach when I juice. I think my taste buds just changed when I hit the age of old. J , " G. Apparently those nasty little things developed a bitter taste so humans (and animals, I guess) would find them distasteful and not eat them. That works with SOME people. Other people can't taste it and eat them anyway. > > Put me down in the " I CAN TASTE IT! YUCK! Guest guest
Any sharpness can be masked depending on how you cook your brussel sprouts. I sometimes steam them in a wok and then add a dash of oil and soy sauce. At other times I might simply serve them in a strong cheddar cheese sauce - and entire meal on its own that gets devoured by anyone who comes near.
