Guest guest
I remember about 40 years ago (I'm too young to remember anything 40 years ago <g>) Julia Child, on her PBS program, prepared Brussels Sprouts that started my liking them. She X'd the bottom and blanched them and let them cool. Then she pulled the leaves off until she had a huge pile of the leaves. She then Sauteed them in browned butter all tossed and beautiful. So I had to try it and they are so delicious that way. I don't do that very often because, unlike Julia, I don't have someone in the kitchen to prep them for me. Lu A cat isn't fussy - just so long as you remember she like her milk in the shallow, rose patterned saucer and her fish on the blue plate. From which she will take it, and eat it off the carpet.
