Guest guest
This sounds really good. The way I fix beets now is simular. Drain beet juice from canned beets in to a sauce pan. Add a tablespoon of cornstarch and two tablespoons of Tang. Cook and stir till sauce thickens and is clear. Add can of beets and bring back to a boil. The beets are now ready to serve. - Jbird Tweety Veg Tuesday, September 22, 2009 10:55 AM Beets and Pineapple Beets and Pineapple 2 tbsps. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup pineapple tidbits 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 lb. can beets, sliced, drain Combine brown sugar, corn starch and salt in pan.
