Rhonda - Mexican restaurants in Kansas City

I haven't been to Ponak's for several years. I work at Crown Center, so

Manny's is within walking distance (in good weather), and they have a decent

lunch menu. Sometime when you're working at SMMC, you ought to try the

Mexican restaurant across the street, Dos Reales -- it's my dad's favorite

place. It's in the same strip mall as Panera, right at the corner of 75th

and Antioch. Last time we went there, we got the veggie fajitas, which were

wonderful, and one order was enough to feed both of us -- which is really

something! They have good salsa, too.

 

I need to try Jerusalem Cafe, I've heard that their lentil soup is

wonderful. Falafel is one of my favorite foods, also... What do you get

there?
