Guest guest
So many people had been talking about these, so I bought a package when I saw them at the store, the spaghetti style ones. I rinsed them and put spaghetti sauce on them, which tasted pretty good, and were certainly easier than boiling pasta noodles for one person (I don't eat much pasta). What a weird texture, though! They have a weird sort of " bite, " but I can get past that. What other kinds of sauces go well with these? Audrey
Guest guest
Did you microwave them to soften more? They are good tossed into soups. They don't get mushy or soggy. They are good with an olive oil and garlic saute or toss with some pesto. They are so quick to fix and only what 20 calories a packet? Great for diabetics craving pasta. Guest guest
I microwaved them for about a minute after rinsing well, then added the sauce and put them back in microwave for another minute. The texture didn't bother me that much, especially with chunky veggie spaghetti sauce. I will keep them just for spaghetti sometimes -- no need to boil! I just sent the link to my sister, who is going on a variation of the South Beach diet and was asking me for vegetable recipes. She likes spaghetti sometimes, and this would be good for her, too.
