Guest guest Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 Sunrise Smoothies 1/4 cup water 8 dates, cut up 2 cups fat free yogurt, plain or vanilla 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 medium banana, cut in chunks A few hours or the night before, boil water with dates for 3 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours or overnight. In blender, combine yogurt, orange juice concentrate, honey, vanilla, bananas and the date mixture; process until well blended, 30 to 60 seconds.
