I can't understand why he could feel this way, so many dishes are vegetarian in a meat eaters diet, almost all side dishes are, what's he afraid of? Not knowing what to do with quinoa? I watch Hell's Kitchen every week and have also thought he should a show strictly vegetarian and open a vegetarian place, but I guess that is not going to happen. What he objects to is the junk most restaurants serve a vegetarian instead of a nice appetizing meal. I believe all of his restaurants have vegetarian options and I know his TV shows have included vegetarian and vegan challenges. Guest guest Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 He's not so bad. He just sees humans as on top of the food chain who should be eating meat. He does not hate vegetarians. Check out the BBC network - " Kitchen Nightmares " where he helps restaurant owners failing businesses become profitable again. He did one of a vegetarian restaurant in France and came up with awesome vegetarian recipes. Gordon is a phenominal chef and I have eaten at his restaurants which are superb and I have personally walked throught the kitchens myself and they are absolutely spotless, even when the kitchen is SLAMMED.
