Gordon' take on vegetarians

I watch the show (Hell's Kitchen, Fox network, USA). There was an episode

that featured a vegetarian cooking challenge using fake " meats. " It was a

challenge for the cooks to see if they could figure out what was wrong or

different or missing from the dish. If I remember correctly there was not

one of the budding chefs that identified it as fake meat, only one of them

said something wasn't " right " with the meat. That showed just how good the

fakes are.

I found this interesting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Ramsay

" On the second series of The F Word Ramsay showed a softened stance after

learning about intensive pig farming practices including castration and tail

docking. On the programe, Ramsay commented, " It's enough to make anyone turn

(bleep!)ing vegetarian, for God's sake. And I've always sort of knocked

vegetarians and vegans for missing out on the most amazing flavour you can

get from meat. But you can see why so many people change instantly. "

I never knew that about him. I watch Hell's Kitchen every week and have

also thought he should a show strictly vegetarian and open a vegetarian

place, but I guess that is not going to happen.
