I do have Alton Brown's, it's so scientific I love it.

I have all Linda McCartney's cookbooks, I got those from Freecycle.

Now the only set I can't warm up to is the Moosewood collection. I love the old

Vegetarian Epicure and the Tassajara cookbooks, the Vegetarian Times cookbooks

are good.

The Joy of Vegan Baking is wonderful for vegans or anyone allergic to dairy and

or eggs.

There are many more I enjoy.

I like Daisy's Cooking Latin cookbook by Daisy Martinez. Lot's of ideas.

I love the book.I do have the essential Vegetarian, which is good,but tricky. I

like books with color that jump out at you and written not quite so serious.

I've not liked the Moosehead book. I've looked at it in the store. I find it

hard to concentrate on the Essential Vegetarian, cause there's no color or

pictures, lol.

I like color photos, too -- I always want to make a recipe more when I've

seen a pretty photo of it!
