Guest guest
It's actually Rumaki not Rumiyaki. You can styff the seeded date with an almond, ir slice the date upen and insert some coconut,or make with drained pineapple chunks or waterchestnuts. Not sure if it's Japanese or Hawaiian but it's been around a very long time. The original version was made with a poultry item and bacon Yikes! It was yummy. She just wrapped each date (seedless) with a half slice of vegi bacon and baked it in the oven. No other ingredients. I don't know the exact time. Bj. Grey Woodbridge, Va.
