Guest guest
you can try scones with clotted or devonshire cream, vegetable pie, shortbread (for scotland), fava beans, oatmeal bread (scotland), irish soda bread, tarts are a very popular british dessert or tea time sweet (small ones filled with lemon curd), beans on toast is a huge thing in England (baked beans from Heinz is the big brand over there), curried veggies are big over there from all the Indian influences acquired when England ruled over there, chip buddies (literally french fry sandwiches, steak fries, mayo and white bread - and yes I ate them when I lived there), there are also french fries with malt vinegar over them (awesome combo), crumpets are popular also, cabbage and mashed potatoes (Ireland wanting to say it's bubble and squeak it's GOOD), boiled cabbage and potatoes, leeks are HUGE over there too, that's all I can think of right now, getting brain drain - been a LONG day lol ~Tee
