Eden Alley in Kansas City

I went to Eden Alley for lunch yesterday. I had their tacos, with brown rice. I

bought home lemon advacodo cake, for later. The tacos were amazing. They were

made with TVP, vegetable meat flavored, and dark in color. Looked like the TVP

in the box with the taco seasonings. It was good, really good. I didn't buy the

cook book, it seemed sparse.

 

I'm looking for the recipe for the lemon advacodo cake. If I find it, I'll post

the link.

I have not been able to make it over there yet, so thanks for posting! Now I

have to make that a priority - I've got two girlfriends (one a pescaterian

who has been there before, and another willing to try anything) who want to

go, too! On a side note, it's nice to have those friends or family members

who will try anything. My dad is like that, he likes most food and is always

willing to try something new. I suggest a restaurant I've heard of, he says

sure, when do you want to go? His wife is kind of a picky eater, so she's

content to let the two of us go to different ethnic restaurants (mostly

Mexican, Greek, or middle eastern) by ourselves.

Hello =

I am new to the group - was born in Kansas City - live near Charleston on

Wadmalaw Island and was just in KS last Thanksgiving have been having such

fun with this new Veggie find. Will put my friends in KC onto Eden Alley.
