I have a question about TVP

    I have a question about TVP that I don't think I've seen addressed here on

this list.

Is it possible to find (to purchase) TVP that is made with organic (soy)

ingredients?  I am very careful about things made with corn or soy being made

from the organic ingredients, even though I know that USDA " organic " standards

may not be as strict about restricting use of synthetic chemical fertilizers,

pesticides and so on.  It's about the best we can do, I guess.

 

    Anyway, I have seen bulk TVP at our local grocery and in health food

stores--usually packaged from Bob's Red Mill brand or Arrowhead Mills, perhaps. 

I have not seen any TVP there or on the internet so far that carries an organic

label and I really would like to find some.  I have held off using TVP in

quantity (except for frozen Boca and the Fantastic Foods sloppy joe mix a couple

of times).  I would like to do this more regularly, but want to find organic TVP

if it IS available somewhere.
