Guest guest
I attended a meet-up in Kansas City at the Blue koi Resturant yesterday. I thought this was interesting. On the menu, they have the entree's (most of them), with chicken, pork, or vegetarian. Infact, the resturant tended to lean vegetarian. I had crispy tofu. I didn't realize we were eating an actual meal there, so I went with that in mind. It was served with Awesome sauce, which I later found a recipe for. The crispy tofu did not taste like tofu at all. There are alot of tofu appetizers, and vegetable appetizers, and vegan food on the menu. It's in the KU med center, and it's mid priced, kind of like Applebees, but much much better. -Rhonda
Guest guest
Just looked at their menu online - looks good! You know, I don't really care for tofu, but I like pad thai with tofu in a good thai restaurant -- it really doesn't have a weird " tofu taste " there. It's all in how you prepare it (and obviously I have not learned how to prepare it!) Thanks for sharing, Rhonda. Audrey
Guest guest
I could not tell, in anyway, that it was tofu. I wish mine turned out like that. It resembled cream cheese. --Rhonda , Audrey Snyder <AudeeBird wrote: > > Just looked at their menu online - looks good!
