I bought Harmony House tvp sampler, and was going to try chicken chunks, but I'm

having a hard time reconstituting, and I'm worried that it won't be reconstituted

by the time I want to fix it. Is it slow to reconstitute?Maybe I should've done

it last nght, in stead of this morning.

Best way to reconstitute is to bring some water to a boil and then add your TVP

and move it off the burner.

It should reconstitute in just minutes. Did you use boiling water? Maybe

add a teaspoonful or two of vinegar. I've heard that helps.

Actually,I microwaved it for 10 minutes, then, let it sit for 30 minutes, and ift

finaly worked. I don't thinkI got my first water warm enough, it was microwaved,

but not boiling. It tatsted great, by the way.I soaked it in barbecue sauce, and

water, for hours, and put it into a red bell pepper slice, and wrapped it with

Morningstar bacon. 350, 30 minutes.--Rhonda
