Guest guest
Yes Audrey I have an anorexic vegetarian friend. She has been a vegetarian anorexic for over 25 yrs. She calls it malnutrition, won't say the word anorexia and she lives on a bowl of salsa she scoops with one corn chip she tosses, she also tosses the fruit and sucks on the seeds, she does hide behind vegetarianism as an excuse. She has been in the hospital so many times I can't count and breaks bones left and right due to her osterporosis, she has been in recovery programs that she walks out of. She is in denial. When anyone mentions how thin she is, she will quickly say, oh that is because I'm vegetarian. Guest guest
That is so sad -- malnutrition on purpose. I worry about my co-worker and especially about her little boy -- wondering what kind of eating habits she is teaching him. Me, I like food -- and I'm getting better about eating other kinds of food and not indulging in my sugar addiction as often! Audrey
