Guest guest
it's thankksgiving for us up north today! My lady is having a potluck so I had to make some veggie alternatives for soup I roasted squash, carrots, turnips, potatoes and leeks then blended into soup base. added a little orange juice, honey and brown sugar. Once it had cooked a few hours I added some frozen corn there will be vegie stuffing not cooked in the turkey, vegie gravy, along with potatoes, cran sauce so i just needed a main dish I cooked a bag of lentils in soup base, added some liquid smoke and hot sauce. put them (cooked) in a bakigng pan with chopped oion and garlic. Mashed sweet potatoes, carrots and turnips. put the mash on top of the lentils and bake for an hour at 350 it should be a fun dinner
Guest guest
Happy Thanksgiving. It sounds like you will be having a great meal. Much better than fake turkey, but, then, I never liked even real turkey. I would much more thankful for your meal :>) Diana
