Guest guest
I am a new member & looking forward to sharing recipes. Here is one that is popular at all the family spreads: COPPER PENNIES 2 lbs carrots (peeled & sliced thin) 1 small green pepper (chopped) 1 med onion (chopped) 1 can tomato soup 1/2 cup salad oil 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup vinegar 1 tsp prepared mustard 1 tsp vegtarian worcestershire sauce Slice & boil carrots in salted water until tender. Cool and alternate layers of carrots, peppers & onions. Beat remaining ingreadients together until compleely blended. Pour over vegetables. Cover & refrigerate. Best to let sit in refrigerator day or 2 before serving for the flavors to blend.
