Guest guest
As an afterthought save the seeds and plant them in your garden next season. It's easy. Place the pulp and seeds in a bowl of water and most of the viable seeds will float to the top. Air dry them completely before storing in a paper envelope. Mark the envelope with name, date, etc. My Butternut Squash is now baking in the oven and the seeds are ready to dry. I save seeds from everything. I may not be able to plant all of them but I will share the seed with others. There are community gardens, seed swap groups and seed saving gardeners everywhere who will welcome your seeds. Life is just way too much fun sometimes Deanna in Colorado
