Guest guest
Audrey, I can't begin to tell you all the kitchen disasters that I've experienced. Always seems to happen when we're preparing something for a special meal. My most recent was a glass lid that I stored in the oven during the summer. I turned on the oven to pre-heat and when I opened the oven door I discovered the glass lid had shattered into a jillion pieces, covering the bottom of my oven. I've cleaned many ovens in my day but it's really hard cleaning up splinters of glass. I have to admit that the oven was not all that clean to start with so the glass *stuck* to who knows what..LOL..I couldn't even vacuum it out. Like Donna says , next week you can share this story with friends and laugh about it. My family still laughs about the pressure cooker that exploded and covered the walls and ceiling with beans. My all time favorite is when my father-in-law ate the left overs that I had cleaned out of the fridge and was fixing for the dog. Nothing was spoiled but it was sure a strange mixture of gravy, veggies and you name it. Life is just way too much fun sometimes Deanna in Colorado *************************************************************** thelilacflower wrote: ...(From time to time you will have cooking accidents in the kitchen. I have done all types of things while cooking. Next week you can look back and laugh. Come on smile....)
