Guest guest
Each time you wash your spatula, remove the top from the handle. Inside the slit of the top often has batter, etc. Really clean both parts good. Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Guest guest
oh yeah, and those lids from tupperware, I think they are, they have a button up top that you push in, and a plastic lid that tightens or lossens when you push the button. dismantle that and clean it. I remember looking at my moms one time, I took it apart, and OMG the mold that was growing in there! hugs, Chanda thelilacflower wrote: > > > Each time you wash your spatula, remove the top from the handle. > Inside the slit of the top often has batter, etc. Really clean both > parts good. > Donna > Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry > >
Guest guest
Every time I run the dishwasher (I could not live without my dishwasher) I put my kitchen sponges wedged in on the top rack. Good for disinfecting those little suckers, they can grow all sorts of nasty stuff. Guest guest
Each time you wash your spatula, remove the top from the handle. I had to stop for a moment with this one. I call the thingie that one flips pancakes with a " spatula " . None of my " flippers " come apart like that. THEN I realized you mean the " bowl-scraper " thingie--I also call THAT a " spatula " , but for some reason, didn't think of it first-off! I agree--it can get " cruddy " under where the rubber top slips over the end of the handle! Only 1 of my 3 " scraper " spatulas comes apart like that, so I do that whenever I use the 2-piece spatula. Thanks for the reminder! --Laura B., in Illinois
Guest guest
The bowl scraper is my finger and the thing you call a bowl scarper is a spatula to me and the thing you call a spatula is a pancake turner hahaha. Believe me I know how many times those 2 things get called different words. Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
