Eating a nice homemade meal off pretty dishes. I have some favorites I just love, I drink water from a Fleetwood Mac giant glass, my desserts I eat off square Marilyn Monroe plates, I have a Japanese soup bowl I love for soups, my coffee cup is deep clear cobalt blue and says Peace on the front etched into the glass, and sometimes I drink my juice out of a leopard design glass or one with the Rolling Stones or the Beatles on the front. I'd like to be Stevie Nicks for Halloween (curly blonde wig, lots of black scarves...) but the platform boots would be the hard part, I don't even have any tall boots. I have the Pfaltzgraff Winterberry dishes -- I use those November through January just because I like them, and they're not Christmas-specific. I never use paper plates or napkins because it is such a waste of money and resourses. Most of my plates and bowls come from the thrift store. My favorites are the old restaurant type dishes especially the ones from the Chinese Restaurant. I even found a Saki cup one day and it has a special place on my table. I like to mix and match my soup bowls and plates. Sometimes I use pint canning jars to serve iced tea. My favorite plate is shaped like a fish. Mother found it at a garage sale and I use it daily. Oh yes and my napkin rings are different colored metal *Lady Bugs*. Cutest things you've ever seen. My best crochet table cloth is always on the table. Stop in for lunch/dinner anytime.
