You know, almost all smokers do quit. It's really not a question of " if "

but rather of " when. " They will have to endure quitting process

eventually, but it's so much better to do it before you have cancer or

COPD. If I had quit earlier...

I don't completely agree.  My Uncle lived to be 89 and smoked a pack a day, my

Aunt passed at 84 and she was a chain smoker, cigs don't kill everyone.  I have

more in-laws passing from eating meat and cooking with lard.  I agree they

aren't good for you and the percentage of having ill health is higher but plenty

of people have lung cancer and have never smoked and plenty of smokers live out

their life with no problems at all.  I happened to be one of the smokers who did

have lung problems from them.
