Guest guest
I like searching for recipes and when I visited the site of Sweden's largest food magazine (non-vegetarian) and noticed that the only vegetarian alternative for meatballs (a must on the Swedish Christmas table)was Brussel sprouts in a mustard sauce, I got a bit upset. I like Brussel sprouts, but it's noting like the meatballs and probably nothing a non-vegetarian would choose to try. I mailed the journalist and gave a few tips (falaffel, " meat " balls made with beans or Quorn) and said that I hoped there would be more vegetarian alternatives for Christmas. I got a prompt answer, where she thanked for the suggestions and told that there will be recipes for an entirely vegetarian Christmas table closer to Christmas. So it helps to complain/suggest and ask for vegetarian recipes in a non-vegetarian magazine. I've often found vegetarian recipes in the magazine, so that was why I got disapointed when there were so few vegetarian alternatives this time. /Helga
