Guest guest Posted November 4, 2009 Report Share Posted November 4, 2009 I read this recipe yesterday and thought it did not sound too different from the many cornbread recipes that I have tried but I was intrigued! I went straight to the kitchen and made the recipe exactly as listed.....well, it is EXCELLENT. I was literally raised on cornbread and beans and it's still my favorite meal so I KNOW my cornbread. Guest guest Posted November 4, 2009 Report Share Posted November 4, 2009 Me too..i was raised on cornbread, like everyday..even through some tuff times in the late 50's..my mom would stretch be*f and p*rk by adding cooked me*t into the corn bread. She would make the cornbread muffins with the me*t, maybe a vegatable like carrot, and make a creamy sauce to pour over it .....hummmmmmmmmmmm...wish i could have some now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
