Guest guest
Well thought my water broke the other day, turned out it was a " bladder spasm " . However ended up at the hosp. where they did an emergency ultrasound to make sure baby was ok and that it really wasn't the water. Got the results back that baby is healthy as a horse, though they could'nt tell me if a boy or girl. I'm due WAY earlier than I thought, like Dec. 7th instead of Jan - Feb. My anemia has been acting up but I knew that as I've been sick and unable to swallow even my prenatals let alone any extras. As a result I've been drinking OJ like there's no tomorrow and almost killed a whole pineapple on my own yesterday. Citrus and milk are my current craves. - not necessarily together - though I wouldn't turn down an orange cream milkshake or float. lol I've also been craving dark leafy greens after polishing off the spinach the other day. Seems my body liked something in it. My bp is high, but no gestational diabetes (was concerned as I had a fainting spell), my weight is the same as it was when I got pregnant which still being morbidly obese is a good thing. I do credit alot of it to what I've learned here. I don't have the m**t cravings of my last pregnancy, just a few here and there. I have also had the pleasure of watching my kiddos enjoy more fruits and veggies, from cabbage and potatoes (my personal fav.), and OOpps potato soup (it was supposed to be mashed potatoes with skins on but I was talking to David while pouring the milk and " poof " potato soup it was). David now eats salads, broccoli, and isn't adverse to trying new foods. Darian doesn't care as long as it's food. He is my fruit eater and keeps stealing my dried apricots. Then pitches a fit when I get into " his " raisins. In fact one of our new favorite lunches is just baked potatoes sometimes with toppings sometimes just a little s & p and we're good. We did do the fast food thing there for awhile when cooking smells made me sick, but even then we did our best to stick to as vegetarian as possible, subway being a favorite. At anyrate I credit a good chunk of the heath of baby to what I've learned here. Now once I know if it's a boy or girl you can be sure I'll post. lol As I'm now DYING to know - so much for we're gonna wait! lol ~Tee
