Guest guest
I'm making these along with a Dutch apple pie and 2 pumpkin pies. I feel tired just thinking about it. These pumpkin squares are well received. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving to all. Myrtle Pumpkin Squares 1 cup oil 2 cups sugar 4 eggs 2 cups canned pumpkin 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 cups flour Topping; 3 ounces cream cheese, softened 6 tablespoons butter, softened 1 teaspoon milk or more 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 cups powdered sugar 1 dash salt Beat the first 3 ingredients until creamy. Add the pumpkin, cinnamon, salt, soda, baking powder and flour. Pour into greased and floured cookie sheet ( a deep one). Bake 350F for 35 minutes. Topping: Mix well and frost pumpkin bars.
