Guest guest
Did any of you watch the Hallmark movie on CBS tonight, called A Dog Named Christmas? It was wonderful and what a very loving way to help the dogs out that are in the shelters. All put one of our cats and dog came from a shelter or took up with us and we adopted them. Have a great Christmas season evening. Judy
Guest guest
I'm watching it now. It is very sentimental but I am enjoying it. I do wonder about the dogs changing environments for a short period of time. I'm sure the dogs like to have a home over Christmas but I do worry about them going back to the shelter and being confused. All of our dogs have come from shelters or rescues. Guest guest
Dogs are envied for their ability to live in the 'here and now'. Any number of days in the spotlight at a holiday home are better than 'here and now' in a shelter environment. Plus ..... some might even get a few bites of leftover pumpkin pie (but not at my house.) <g>) As in this story, reality suggests that many become too loved to be returned.
