People will be people.  This happens with neighbors, coworkers, etc.

If you have a person you don't care to deal with again just block their email

address, if anyone is ever rude forward the post to the moderator.

I have never had a problem with FC and have been doing it for years.

One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small. And the ones that

mother gives you don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet

I did have one really bad experience with it in Bartlesville, OK. This lady was

so mad that I had given the items away to someone else. But otherwise, it is a

good program. As long as people respect each other, all is good. Karen

OT: freecycle

I got one of my favorite cooking pans from freecycle.  It's a large, stainless

steel pan, very heavy and of good quality; it would cost a lot to buy one

" new " .  I got it from someone when our freecycle group met in a park for a

" free-for-all " swap.  Each person was encouraged to bring something (or things)

to offer (anything one might usually offer to the freecycle group anyway) and

then we were encouraged to TAKE away whatever we wanted.  Anyone who left

without taking something had to take his/her offered item, unless it was gone

first.

Anyway, I saw this cooking pot and really liked it.  My quilt rack was pretty

but at that point useless to me.  I thought it was a great deal!  When I got

home, I found that my REVERE WARE skillet/Dutch oven lid fit the new pot

exactly.  (It's about half the volume of the Dutch Oven pot.)  I use it often,

especially when I make beans-and-rice.  It's a wonderfully useful kitchen item.

I am thankful for freecycle, although I try to " offer " more things than I

recieve; I am a self-confessed " clutter-bug " and freecycle has helped me loosen

up the hold that my " stuff " seems to have on me most of the time!

(Notice I said I cook beans-and-rice in this pot? That's what I put in so this

post can be " veggie-friendly " !  LOL!)
