Guest guest
Went in for last minute ultrasound yesterday and it's a girl!! It also confirmed she's a healthy 7lbs. now, and per the doc I can pop anytime now. In fact my body is soo ready for the baby the doc's afraid I won't be able to make it from where I live to the hosp. in time so under strict orders of no more than 6 contractions in an hour. (I only live 45 min. away) She was a little put out with me as since hubby was home for a week my primary foods were french fries, cheese pizza, and pop, soooo I was a little dehydrated and my blood pressure was up. (not that looking at the bills before I went in helped at all. lol) But all is well, and all my Yankee friends who actually LIKE snow predict I'll have the baby tonight or tomorrow as I HATE snow and it's in our forcast here in Alabama. -.- Being the lover of irony that I am, I can see it too though. I got brave and bought tofu so any TNT tofu recipes give me a hollar as I'm actually quite looking forward to trying it. (Yeah, the m**t cravings are all but gone, though I have to admit the seafood ones aren't. And I'm getting back to my experimental self. I wanted some red lentils, but no such luck. I LOVE those!) ~Tee
Guest guest
Best wishes for you and your precious baby girl. My doctor told me that my son wouldn't come for another month. He came that same day! The doctor told me that I could go to the hospital if I wanted to do so, but the baby wouldn't come. LOL! I was twenty minutes away from the hospital and was rushed right into the delivery room. I made it but of course the doctor didn't. I'm sure that the only reason that I made it to the hospital was because my husband kept saying, " Don't you dare have that baby in my new car! " Shall be praying for a safe delivery for you. Stick with the vegetarian diet :>) Diana
Guest guest
Best wishes Tee. Stay on the veg diet. Keep reading the vegetarian Mom and Baby book I sent you. It takes a little will power but you can do it. How do I know, I don't have any babies LOL Donna
Guest guest
It would be easier if hubby wasn't a total carnivore. lol but that said I go to that book the most often especially since it tells what nutrients are in what meals and being anemic I LOVE all the recipes that have iron mentioned in them. And ive found recipes we all like in it. I'm slowly as I can afford it now that the whole smell and texture thing is finally over redesigning my pantry list as I redesign my eating habits. My goal is to find recipes that are so totally yummy hubby won't miss the m**t. Kids are on the way already proof is that my soy bacon pieces for MY salads are GONE I've had none and the container was found empty in the boys toy box followed by two very rapid " not me's! " . lol -Tee Sent from my iPhone On Dec 4, 2009, at 11:22 AM, " DonnaLilacFlower " <thelilacflower wrote: Best wishes Tee. Stay on the veg diet. Guest guest
How exciting, Tee! Hope everything continues to go well. Am I remembering right that this will be your first little girl? You have all boys, right? Diana, I heard a similar story about my own birth -- Daddy made Mom wait to get in the car (after her water broke) while he put a plastic trash bag on the brand-new car seat... so typical of him! Guest guest
Yep 3 boys, what I found really neat is my Grandmother had 3 boys before her girl also. She passed away earlier this year and is the babys namesake. I sometimes can't get over how similar our lives have been. (only she lost her middle son when he was 2 or 3). I never even realized it until I was talking to my aunt today on the phone. Lol -Tee Sent from my iPhone How exciting, Tee! Hope everything continues to go well. Guest guest
Congrats! I have 3 boys as well (and a step-son, making 4 between my husband and I) and was hoping for a girl when I became pregnant in September. Sadly, I found out that I lost the baby on Nov. 24 at 12 weeks gestation. I am so happy for you that you are well and the baby is ready to come. Good luck, she is lucky to have 3 big brothers to " protect " her! Now, go get some rest if that is possible!!
Guest guest
I lost a girl last year in September. This is pregnancy 8 for me, fortunatly all my others have been early term and my body was able to heal itself, but the last one shook me up as I didn't even know I was pregnant. I can't be certain she was a she, but it just feels right. I named her Aster Rose. I was prob only 8 weeks, but it was a shock nontheless. ((((((hugs)))))) to you with your loss. -Tee Sent from my iPhone
