Seeking new source for veggie hotdogs

I recently found out that Morningstar Farms discontinued their veggie hotdogs or

corn dogs. Which is very disappointing since I really liked those products.

Can anyone recommend a similiar tasting veggie hotdog product that I might use

as a replacement?

Thanks for any and all suggestions. :)

I was talking with a stock person at the Village Market(all vegetarian grocery

store) in Collegedale, TN last month and he said that Kellog had an unknown

problem with a facility that was making the veggie Hot dogs and corn dogs. They

couldn't seem to work out what ever the issue was so canceled these products

that were only being made at this facility. They thought they would be able to

find another facility to make these products for them, but can't seem to find

one, great to the sadness of many of the fans of these 2 products in their line.

I recommend highly the Worthington/Loma Linda Vegelinks and Big Franks, both

have delicious yet different tastes to each other. I buy them at Adventist Book

Centers worldwide, which has a very good health food store in each of them and

carry the most variety of meat substitutes of any health food store I've ever

been to.

Also I buy the canned Worthington/Loma Linda line of meat substitutes from

Amazon. They tastes so good. There is no sales tax, no shipping and great

prices.

I've been eating Worthington/Loma Linda meat substitutes since the 60's. They

are the pioneer in meat substitues.

I always keep cases of Worthington/Loma Linda Fri-chik, Swiss Stake, Vegetarian

Burger, Tender Rounds, Tender Bits, Skallops, Rediburger and the two vegetarian

hot dogs mentioned above, at all times.

Enjoy,

Judy

Sandy, I get veggie hot dogs called Smart Dogs. I find them in Publix where

they have the soy products, like

soy cheese, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never heard of Publix. I've tried Smart Dogs but

like Morningstar hotdogs better. I'm hoping to find some hotdogs that taste more

like them.

Publix is a southern grocery store. I used to live in NC. They don't have them

there but my sister lives in Woodruff SC, close to Spartanburg...they have them

there. Try Whole Foods for the hot dogs. They usually have a big selection.
