Guest guest
Oh, boy....We were in the 30s for the lows this weekend, but today it was the 50s for the lows and low 70s for the highs. We were foggy all day. When I left my sister's this evening at 6 the fog was settling on the soccer field with the players on it. It was creepy and still 70 and very humid. I wish the weather would make up its mind. One front brings freezing weather and heavy rain, the other bring warm weather and heavy rain. My dirt road is a messy, and my fibromyalgia isn't happy, but I sleep great during the rain. Oh well...at least I have my Keurig for the coffee and my rice cooker and pressure cooker for making such great and flavorful soups and stews. I can make beans in less than an hour without soaking. They just suck up the flavor in my digital pressure cooker. Ummmmm......Then I cook rice with veggie stock in the rice cooker that is hermetically sealed so it works like a low pressure cooker and infuses the rice with great flavor. Beans and rice has never been so good. But then again, I don't have a wood stove going all day like some of you do or I would put the bean on it and not worry.
