HS List will remain private

Dear Sangha Members:

 

I have heard from several respected and long time HS members

privately. Based on their input and other considerations, the HS list

will continue to remain private as before and for members only.

 

Please do keep in mind that whenever we post something on the Internet

in a cyber space group on or Google, privacy cannot be

guaranteed. As the long time members remember, a year or two ago, we

even experienced some website hijacking the HS archives and publishing

them. They did put a stop to it when we objected strongly to that

practice. However, they were able to do it because someone from their

site became a member and then downloaded the archives.

 

The point is that such dishonest and unethical practices do occur and

these are difficult to prevent. So that is how it is. The lesson is to

use the Internet wisely.

 

Sri Bhagavan Ramana has blessed us with each others company. I am

grateful for this opportunity for friendship in the sangha. The list

has the Grace and Blessings of Sri Bhagavan Ramana. Sri Ramana used to

say that the Sun shines on all equally. We have to turn our face

towards it and feel the warmth.

 

Our main focus should remain to maintain the good atmosphere of the

Sangha and realize the ever present Grace of Bhagavan.

 

As always, we are open to all religions, schools of yogas, tantras,

meditation, and philosophy in the context of self-inquiry with the

feeling of friendship towards all and in the spirit of Ahimsa.
