Guest guest
Dear Group, Tonight we are going to see 'Mother Meera.' She is one born Self-realized. She does not talk, just darshan, and if you want, stand in line and she will lay hands on you and gaze in your eyes and give you what she has to give. Do any of you know anything about her? Not two, Richard

I don't wish to go into her visits to Canada and what happens in Germany, it is up to you to do this research yourself. Enjoy yourself though, but what she emits is already within yourself, and in fact is that feeling...........If you visit http://www.geocities.ocm/aoclery and click on my avatar notes--I go into more detail. The experience was positive but not transformative. Some of my friends had a much stronger experience than I did. My lack of a transformative experience may be due at least in part to a kind of awakening experience I had a few years ago. Since than the need to seek and search for anything at all has gradually melted away. We are already what we seek. Jerry
Guest guest
Dear Jerry, Thanks for your comments. We saw her and both my wife and I went up to her. She gave us (and everyone - about 600 this night) every thing she had to give. For us it was nice, but not transformative (either). Transformation is not really talked about in Advaita, How can one be transformed into what they already are? Rather it is seen as a process of self-knowledge, resolving the 'darkness' of ignorance (about one's real identity) with knowledge of what is always Real. AS I have come to understand this, this explains what I have experienced. What has lasted are those moments of deepening self-knowledge. Otherwise there have been 'nice experiences' that come and go. Guest guest
Richard, I agree. The nice expereines are fine, as are the bad ones, once they no longer become something that defines what we are. They are just expereinces .... a part of the dream. However when they are part of the search for what we are they always leed only to more and endless searching. Jerry , " Richard Clarke " <richard wrote: > > Dear Jerry, > > Thanks for your comments.
