" What shall I read? To what shall I listen? Shall I listen to the readings of the Veda and the holy traditions? THat which is innate will be obtained by natural means. O simple man, why dost thou not repeat the Holy Name of God? It is useless deliberating again and again; A blind man needs light, and that light is the Holy Name; In that light the invisible becomes visible; O light the inner lamp! Says Kavbir: Now I have known the Truth, And knowing it, my mind is fully satisfied. If others do not believe me, what care I for them?
