Wow, thank you, Richard, for posting all those photos! They are

wonderful. It is also nice to see a picture of you and Carol and

have faces now to imagine with your posts.

Jill,

 

Thank you for your message. I just wanted to share a bit of the Grace

we live with each day.

 

The photo was from my 64th birthday, and the dhoti was Carol's

present to me.

 

Now she is starting to wear saris. this means learning how to put them

on, and how to manage the pleats correctly, etc. She noticed that

mainly young women wear the 'salwar suits' and thought the sari more

appropriate. There are times where we go to village ceremonies, like

the funeral of the mother of a local friend. IN these, the people are

so happy that a western woman sould come and wear a sari.

Dear Richard,

 

The pictures are lovely indeed. Thank you so much for posting these. You

and Carol look very nice and distinguished in the Indian clothes!
