These phenomena are God's Grace or God's Face, or The Divine Manifestations. This heart is not only a perceiving heart but also a comprehending heart. This heart is in perpetual indebtedness to the Divine Manifestation. Phenomena become objects by the birth of the mind that desires. This mind takes over the function of the heart and man learns to use the mind instead of the heart. This mind has many forms all based on ambition and desire. Therefore, there is the luxury- seeking mind, the flattery and fame-seeking mind and the profit-seeking mind with the resulting Increase and Riches. When you have these minds, you cannot escape having your luxury-defending mind, the flattery and fame protecting mind and the loss-evading mind, with the resulting Diminution and Poverty.
