Guest guest
A MAP TO THE DIVINE The disciple visited his Master one afternoon, the weather was cold and other disciples were present gathered around a fireplace warming their bodies. They were all peaceful and chatting together a small talk about how cold, it was outside. Soon tea was offered and few biscuits and crackers were served, they were all having a pleasant cup of tea. The Master entered and saw what they were all doing so he said: M: Do you recognize that –right now- you are enjoying the breeze of Heaven? D: What do you mean by enjoying the breeze of Heaven, we are only having a cup of tea and some biscuits? M: When a small child aged 3 or 4 months is hungry, then he is given milk or anything to eat, he experiences immediately the Bliss of Completeness. This Bliss of Completeness –for the child- is his true birth right abode, and anything that might –even very remotely disturbs the Bliss of Completeness abode of the child- is promptly met with, by changes in his outer circumstances and environment with the sole objective of not permitting the Anguish of Need to set in. In other words, the inner abode of the child is his Heaven while his outer circumstances only serve to establish and fortify that abode. As the child grows older, he is very easily tempted to leave that inner abode through the inward Creation of Multiplicity or the creation of his mind, so the child replaces the Bliss of Completeness with the anguish of multiplicity and the creation of his own individual mind and tries to establish an outer Heaven. Now, regarding your cup of tea, this is another color of Heaven, where your egos are not called for. You do want to prove yourselves, all of you are inwardly relaxed, and you do not want to gain anything from this chatting. This is the intimacy between the dwellers of Heaven. This intimacy comes from the disappearance of otherness among you. This is again the Bliss of Completeness. Where there is no ego friction. Now you know where Heaven is, you have a map to the Divine.
