" " Which of the two bottles shall I bring, he asked? " " There aren't two glass bottles, stop squinting lad, Go there, break just one of these bottles, please! " He smashed it to smithereens, there wasn't another, When one was shattered both vanished from his sight. A man is made swivel eyed through wicked habits, And a long tendency to luxuriate in anger. Rage and lust create this double squinted vision, They change the soul so rightousnss departs. When self-interest appears, virtue flies away, A hundred veils fall down between heart and eye . If the Judge lets corruption into his mind, How will he know the sinner from the sinned? Stubborn, self-righteous men become squint eyed, So we pray to God to save us from such affliction.
