In the source of HTML documents you can see " & nbsp" frequently, an example is Harsha's site / Visit it and on the browser tab, "view" (firefox) or "page" (MS IE), choose "view (page) source". For Harsha's site, this will show:
[ & nbsp;Home & nbsp;] [ & nbsp;Ahimsa & nbsp;] [ & nbsp;Current & nbsp;Issue & nbsp;] [ & nbsp;<a IOW, QED no? :-) So, either copy HTML to HTML or otherwise to a text-only editor first.
