Dear Richard,

The mind was having a little bit of a turmoil a few days ago. So I

took my Ribhu Gita and went to the nearest mountain to see the sunset.

While there, I opened the book saying to myself that I will surrender

to whatever appears as a statement when opening the book at random.

What appeared was the same chapter you are quoting these days, but a

few verses later (verse 13), when it says:

Conquest of thought alone is the great success.

Conquest of thought alone is the great achievement.

Conquest of thought alone is the great yoga.

Conquest of thought alone is the great Knowledge.

Conquest of thought alone is the great purification.

Conquest of thought is the great Liberation.

Conquest of thought alone is the removal of sorrow.

Conquest of thought alone is the greatest hapiness.

After a few moments, I went back and read the rest of the first verses

(the ones you are quoting these days). And also I thought about you

posting the Ribhu Gita for everyone to profit.

Coming back home I discovered your recent postings, the same 15th

chapter...

Well...

A big hug, friend.

Dear Mouna,

Ribhu speaks the truth that we are.

For me, in times when I cannot settle the mind, I have found a few

minutes of reading Ribhu, and again I stand in peace.

It sound as if this is true for you as well. What a blessing.

Om Arunachala,

Richard
