Namaste Harsha,

Well you know what happened to me, and my family and it made me angry

for a long time.

More to the loss of time than anything else.

However I did start reading Ramana and Vedanta whilst following the

fraud guru, and that alone made it all worth it.........

What I did find incongruous was that the fraud guru encouraged his so

called advanced follower to read Godmans book 'Be as you are', which I

was already reading anyway.........Cheers Tony

Dear All,

Nisagargadatta is reported to have said " we need the bad gurus to

keep the bad people away from good gurus. "

Robert Adams said " that every Guru has his place, even the false

ones, they may be stepping stones to true Gurus. "

Dear All,

Further thoughts.

Sri Ganesan once told me that bad gurus are quite usual. Even Krishna is supposed to have had a false teacher purporting to be better than him as did the Buddha. Sri Ramana Maharshi had to put up with Perimal, and nowadays many so called 'teachers' flock to give satsang in Tiruvanamalai to bolster their image.

Isn't it easy to forget, a

teacher might not have human form?

It can be the hill Aranachula or a statue in a temple. Certainly

Lord Yama is in this category as well, the Kathopanishad

leaves no doubt. No human teacher could supply the three

boons given to Nachiketas, hence the Lord of Death might be

considered the supreme teacher, no creature can avoid.

Hi Tony,

Long time no see. How's the global watchdog role going and what's this about ? ....Fraud guru... loss and so on ...(if you wish to disclose). I know you had a confrontation with Sai and his alleged abuse sometime aback.
