Guest guest
Song Celestial Study Group 33 Ramana's selections of the 42 most important verses in the Bhagavad Gita arreanged in order for spiritual guidance. Translation is from Collected Works of Ramana Maharshi by A. Osborne and Dr.Kulkarni Pub. Ramanasramam 33. C.VII. V.19 " At the end of many births the man of wisdom comes to me realising that Vasudeva is all. Such a great soul is very hard to find. " Comment: Here Bhagavan affirms the Vedantic teaching that the jiva (our soul or sense of individuality) is caught up in the whirlpool of samsara, an endless cycle of birth and rebirth until Self Realisation i.e.reincarnates. At the same time as he told Paul Brunton 'Isvara (God Almighty) preordains each life for its spiritual development'.So it is benign in the sense that eventually, after many births, every jiva will be Realised. The Jnani, however, the man of wisdom realises that the Immanent Self of Absolute Pure Consciousness is the same as the Godhead, Krishna, Shiva, Brahman etc. and Vasudeva, which means the Lord whose manifestation all this world is. Such a great soul is difficult to find. Comments and questions invited
