Guest guest
Dear friends, I occaisionaly receive Thought For The Day from the Swami Ramdas Ashram. Swami Ramdas, generaly acknowledges as a great Jnani, received Darshan from the Maharshi after a long tapas. He spent some weeks in a cave at Arunachala after meeting Ramana, before his Enlightenment. This posting I thought was rather interesting and somewhat novel. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Om Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram Spiritual progress does not mean development only in one aspect of a human being. His emotional, intellectual and dynamic nature should evolve simultaneously. It is rightly said Karma is the foundation, Jnana the upper structure, and the dome at the top is Bhakti. - Swami Ramdas _____________ANANDASHRAM, Anandashram Post, Kanhangad 671531, Kerala, IndiaWebsite: www.anandashram.org * Email: papaTel: (91) 0467 2203036, 2209477
Guest guest
A good week end thought from Swami Ramdas. He was a Jnani, after great Tapas and receiving the Maharshi's Darshan. He lived in a cave at Arunachala for some time. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Om Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram Adversity is not undesirable. Because it is only when you are down and out in life that you can realise its true value. Face all vicissitudes in life by throwing yourself completely on the mercy of the Almighty Lord. - Swami Ramdas _____________ANANDASHRAM, Anandashram Post, Kanhangad 671531, Kerala, IndiaWebsite: www.anandashram.org * Email: papaTel: (91) 0467 2203036, 2209477
Guest guest
Dear Friends, Awami Ramdas' succinct summing up of a previous vexatious point. Regards to all, Alan THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Om Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram When you remember God in a particular form, you worship Him as Saguna, and when the image dissolves in your mind, raising you beyond the sense of duality, then you realize Him as Nirguna. Both are the aspects of one Truth. - Swami Ramdas
