Dear Sangha,

I found something I felt to share...

" A good,God-fearing man dreamt that he was walking across the sands

of a desert with God.That walk was synonymous with the life story of

the man. As both walked along , the two pairs of feet made two trails

of footprints in the sand. But at times the man could see only one

pair of footprints. He than asked God, 'Dear God, why is it that at

times there is only one trail in the sand? I see that the other trail

is missing at the times when I went through the greatest despair and

agony in my life. Why, when I needed you the most, were you not with

me?'. God looked with great compassion at the man and replied, 'My

dear friend, it is true that there is only one pair of footprints in

the sand during the most difficult times of your life. But during

those times, it was I who carried you in my arms'. "

Namaste,

Namaste Soul,

Ramesh Balsekar was the translator of sri Nisargandatta Maharaj and of course

one of his devotees.

Nowadays he's giving satsang on advaita at his residence in mumbai.

He's very first book on Maharaj's teachings (Pointers) is the only literature on advaita in greek

and that was the end of the "my" searching..

The tale that you have mentioned was one of his favorites and everytime he

related to it he had tears in his eyes..

Nevertheless after my second visit to him, it was clear that he couldn't

possibly be the authority i was searching for,but definetely he was the one to prepare

"me" to receive sri ramana maharshi's Grace..

Yours in Bhagavan,

santosham.

Dear Andreas,

I quite agree with what you have written. It was going to Ramesh for some time which eventually propelled me firmly into the jaws of the tiger- Ramana Maharshi.

Dear Andreas,

If you let the Ashram know by e mail the time of your flight arrival they will

send a taxi for you. This is the best and safest way. Cost is 2000 Rupees. You

can write to the Ashram and stay there if you give them your dates. Write to the

President at the Ashram <sriramanashram.org>.

All best wishes,

Alan

Dear Andreas,

Yes. You pay the driver directly. The Ashram are not concerned where you go from there. If there is a problem or if you prefer, I can arrange a taxi for you through my contacts. No problem as they say.

Namaste Andreas,

I didn't know Ramesh Balsekar was Sri Nisargadattas translator as

well....I've seen some youtube videos (posted some here) and now I

know that fast talking man was Ramesh!

That's beautiful the teachings found you..Ramana found you....you

found your Self ... Awareness realizes itself to have always been

here. This recognition is the sweetest thing in this life..and

doesn't come or go like all phenomena does.

Blessings,

Soul

Dear Allan,

I'm suppose to arrive in chennai on the 20th of january at 01.00hrs after midnight

If you have any further suggestions as far as all this is concerned i'll be more than thankfull

to hear from you !!.

Warm regards,

Dear Andreas,

Yes. You pay the driver directly. The Ashram are not concerned where you go from there. If there is a problem or if you prefer, I can arrange a taxi for you through my contacts. No problem as they say.

All regards,

Dear Andreas, If you let the Ashram know by e mail the time of your flight arrival they will send a taxi for you. This is the best and safest way. Cost is 2000 Rupees. You can write to the Ashram and stay there if you give them your dates. Write to the President at the Ashram <sriramanashram. org>.All best wishes,Alan --- On Wed, 10/12/08, andreas farsatis <born010405 (AT) (DOT) de> wrote:andreas farsatis <born010405 (AT) (DOT) de>Re: Excerpt from 'It So Happaed That' Talks with Ramesh Balsekar...Wednesday, 10 December, 2008, 12:01 PMDear Alan, it can't be
